Sunvibes in SL
Since 2009, Sunvibes has been part of the creative life of Second Life — offering spaces to learn, explore, and connect.
What started as OpenBuilding, a small project teaching basic building skills, has grown into a set of unique locations that reflect the Sunvibes spirit: creativity, learning, music, open sharing, and playful virtual-world design.

What is Second Life?
Second Life is an online 3D virtual world where people create avatars and explore places built by other users. It is not really a game with fixed levels or missions — it is more like a living digital world where people socialise, attend events, listen to music, build homes, create art, run shops, teach classes, and form communities. You can walk, fly, chat, teleport between locations, and take part in experiences made by people from around the world.
Steps to get started with Second Life
- Create a free Second Life account,
- download a viewer such as the official Second Life Viewer or Firestorm,
- log in with your avatar,
- learn the basic controls,
- and start exploring by teleporting to different places.
Once inside, you can chat with people, attend events, listen to music, visit creative spaces, shop, build, and join communities from around the world.
